Ah Fook's Food Diary
This week, I finally got a chance to cook. My personal favorite dish is steam cod fish.

I happen to catch a musical this week.... Hairspray. Some of you folks will know, this is a musical about a girl's dream on being a superstar.... I think it is too girlish for me. My girlfriends who watch it are very excited by it... but I think it is too pinkish for a guy.... haha... but a nice show nevertheless.....Broadway never puts up a lousy show for me.


Ah fook Canon 40D
Finally, I have make my jump to Digital SLR. Have been looking at one for a long time, I must say three years. I know I will need to get one someday. I guess after reading all the specs of Canon latest 40D, I have decided it is the one that suits my needs. A tough body, with many nice features and reasonable cost. I have been thinking of Nikon too.... but D200 is still too expensive when U want nice lens with Nikon. Hence, I choose Canon. And I am happy to make this jump, because I got two of the lens that I really want at reasonable price. EOS 17-40mm f/4 (wide angle lens) + EOS 50mm f/1.8 (standard lens)
I got them from Adoroma. A nice shop, highly recommended for those who wish to get photo equipment......

In short, I love the EOS 50mm, which is USD$70, and it is really a good lens. Cheap things seldom comes good, but this one definitely will stun old film user like me.

I promise to post more intereting pictures for U all with this camera now in my hand..... I have the power for taking nice photos of New York City..... so stay tune to Ah Fook's blog regularly hor:)
